Have you all been good boys and girls and written your letters to Santa? Could be fun to see what we are getting :-P

My xmas pressie to myself is the guitar Wez is making.

The wife has bought me tickets to see the dog whisperer in march (guilty pleasure!)

No guitar stuff for me this year unfortunately.

I'm hoping for a Squeezebox Boom in my stocking though, which I will of course use for playing loud guitar based music on.  ;)

I've asked for a new external HDD since mine's about nackered - it makes loud whirring noises on startup :(

Should have really asked for a new tuner and wah repair as those are probably my most important pedals and neither works properly

Well I asked Santa for a Vox AC4TV valve amp. I even went to the shop and bought it for her and lugged it home...

But then a couple of weeks later, there was a slight GAS attack one Saturday. This would have lasted only a few hours, and passed away quite easily, except Santa herself got involved... We found she didn't really think a "box" that made noise seemed as good a pressie as a musical instrument...

So I'm now playing through the Vox AC4TV (which I have funded) and awaiting the unwrapping of the Brian May Guitars "red special" on Christmas morning.

It is possible I might be getting myself a Danelectro coolcat overdrive (the Vox is b@stard loud in our flat - even on the 1/4 watt setting!) - but I'm finding that my Line6 POD XTLive, with it's amp modelling switched off, is performing extremely well as a multi-effects front end to the vox anyway.

Hang on... you're not actually suggesting Santa is a woman and that you know her?

Well... I haven't actually seen her putting on the beard and red suit... but I'm fairly certain that the lady in the next room (listening to a non-stop rotation of christmas songs for the last week or two) is the actual Santa...

"Dear Santa,

I spent boodles of money on a hand crafted custom guitar but I have no amp to play it with....if you could spare me one, preferably a Diezel VH4....I promise to be a good boy..........next year

Thank You,

I already bought myself a christmas prezzie, a Marshall Dual Monobloc 50 Watt power amp. I've bought gifts for my guitars too, they're all getting new strings, knobs, switches and a bit of a polish. The preamp's getting some new tubes and patch leads and I'll probably get a shiny new Roland XV5050 for the studio but that's not guitar related so it doesn't count.

If I've got any cash left over after that, I'll buy the missus a selection box and the kids can share an extra slice of dry bread on christmas morning.

If I wrote to Santa I would ask for one of the Sonos Multi room wireless music systems

I know that my girlfriend has gotten me a beautiful silver flying V pendant from the Great Frog that I have been keen on for maybe 20 years but never justified buying for myself (as well as other secret pressies)

Gear wise I dont really want for much - maybe an AXE-FX, but not necessary
Loving my Egnater and kind of have no limits guitar wise that I can't look after myself:
I've made myself another Lion which I will show off soon - weighs in at about 8Lbs and sounds great with Mules
