well, seing as it's Children in Need on friday, and there's scheduled computer downtime anyway, they're having a sort of fundraiser night at work. each team has to do something to raise money, and there's already a team doing a raffle and all the usual stuff. so myself and another guy are taking our guitars in and we're going to play for half an hour. busking, essentially. we'll try and convince the rest of the team to join in and sing or something.

so, basically... OH SHIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!!! i've got two less than days in which to become half decent  PDT_022

does anyone know any crossroads where i might be able to trade my soul in for some talent?

cheers guys. :D

it is for a good cause, so even if i look like a pure tit, some good will come of it.

i'm going to take my Epi SG (with BK's of course   ) and probably a borrowed Marshall Microstack.

i remember back in school me and a friend started a band called 'Red Sands'.. i was on keyboard (a borrowed CASIO one) and he played a guitar with 5 strings.

For children in need we organised a 'Red Sands Rock Along' during dinner time, where we converted the assembly hall into a mosh pit and did kareoke\air guitar versions of GnR and Maiden songs...and a couple of Jovi ones 8)

Those were the days, quite a few people turned up, i was wearin a wig, huge pink sunglasses and a rising sun t-shirt

I was about 13 :P

well, nobody really came to see us. they were all more interested in the other activities going on.

so basically i got paid to sit and jam with a couple of guys from the office for a few hours.  PDT_003
