Trying to find some, I know they exist - guitar cables that you can make up yourself for pedalboards...

George L cable with solderless jacks perhaps?

You can also buy any good quality instrument cable and jacks connectors, and reach for your soldering iron...

I prefer the LavaCable solderless. It's a very good sounding, thin cable.

Not as thin as George L, but it doesn't alter the tone as much. George Ls are rather bright.

I know they're a bit 'commercial' but the planet wave pack you can buy is excellent. Simply cut the cable to length and the screw that screws into the jack, earths the cable. Solderless like George L but in my opinion much more reliable. George L look great and are very flexible and easy to tidy away. There best used if you never unplug your pedals. If your in the habit of changing things around though, I wouldn't go for GLs. They have an annoying habit of cutting in and out as they are quite delicate.

Strange, I never had that issue. Still using George Ls for my loop chain and they hold up like soldered ones.

Lava cables are great, but a bit pricey.
If you make them, the price can be 1/5 what a company would charge you, and still great quality.
You can get George L connectors, and the cable some where else, cause they do look great. But they are two - three times the price for one connector/plug.

So lets look at the list:

(ya have to understand, that cables are REALLY cheap. Companies just charge whatever they want, because they know people will fall for it)
