NIce! It looks excellent and I too would leave it alone, that JB should sound pretty darn sweet in there.  8)

Chances are that is a "proper" USA made JB as well - with the older specs
I am still convinced that the JB changed at some point

It should sound great - proof is in the playing

Now you're down to a paltry 12 Dave you'll need to tell us what's left of your arsenal!
I think I hate being indecisive.

I have no love of 1980's music, but I'd kill to get my paws on a Nightswan.

For years they were going for a pittance in pawnshops and I passed them up, thinking that I can always pick up one up cheap later.

Well, they are not cheap anymore.

Yep, still plenty of bargains around though - especially if you don't mind a beaten one night on google and im a friggin' Kramer expert  :P

How "mid" is mid-'80s?  I've got one which might've been wound by this lady too, I guess.  I bought it in '86 or '87.

Yo, thumbs up to Dave - he packs like a pro.

I've straightened the neck up a bit and restrung it. T'is a killer guitar, not too sure why he sold it  :o the body is real heavy so I'm guessing it's maple. The pup is really low output compared to what I'm used to and has that mid-range bite and grind, sounds great and the real surprise is how good it sounds clean.

It's a total cliche for the guitar style, (I'm not busting any bluezak licks on it... or any guitar) but, it's got the early Dokken/EVH tone in spades.

Really impressed with the build quality too, super tight neck joint, 3 piece neck, the inside has shielding paint and the trem cavity has foil shielding (possibly a mod).

Hey Jonathan, the JB in this Kramer is old enough to one of the original spec hand wound ones, I wonder if its still original?
