Sounds like an interesting trip - when are you going (it gets really hot in India in summer).
So many pickups, so little time

end of august, in the school summer holiday... but we are northern india and just after the worst of the rain so i think it will be ok.  tbh i dont mind if it rains  for some of it... all part of were we are going

originally we were planning a few smaller trips but we did so well on the gift list it made sense to blow it all one one we wouldnt get chance to do normally

although i was hoping for an NY trip this year, but i may have to wait to get my hands on your guitar collection ;)

Shame, you'll be missing all the runners-up from last year's X Factor.

I haven't been blessed/cursed with the travel bug, so my initial reaction is:
"oh god, toohotwhatwillthehotelsbelikewherewillIeatwhatifImissatraintooHOT".

But it sounds much more interesting than the beach/nightclub/booze/Real English fish'n'chips type of holiday, which I find a totally baffling concept.

Have a great time!  :D

BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

i am feeling a bit of that... i havnt done that much travelling before and reading through some of the warnings in the details is a bit scary, but thats part of the fun

i am not the best flyer either and this is the furthest i have been in a while, not going to let that stop me  though.... but the dehli belly will probably kick in as soon as i make it to the airport

we got a lot more money from the wedding than we expected and i am not the sort of person who will travel halfway round the world for a beach/resort holiday similar to what you can get in spain... it had to be more interesting than that!!

Gin and tonic, it's the only way to fly.

If you're hitting India in August be prepared that it's hot and humid like hell! I left Delhi around 1st. of August when i visited India and it was almost too much with the high humidity. If you go to the mountains I guess the weather should be nice enough and I can strongly recommend a trip to Manali and McLeod Ganj. Very laid back and great nature.

Anyways. You're gonna have a hell of a trip. India's a really exciting country. You'll find nothing like it anywhere else. But be prepared for a cultural shock
