Really bright and crispy isn't it?  None of this dull fatness you get with lots of them.

That's what I thought and that's how I like my LPs. You can always fatten up a crisp tone, but will be trying hard getting a crisp tone if the guitar is dull.

I'm sure it's gonna be great through your Martamps!

That is a great clip. Sounds to me like a Les Paul should. That is a hat and a half too.

Martin's just bailed on me as he needs to finish an amp for a customer, so it's a long solo drive in the car tomorrow!

Might have to make an early start  ;)

Take lots of ZZ Top and the time will fly by. The worst bit is the drive back - you'll have the guitar with you but won't able to play it. Or even look at it.
I think I hate being indecisive.

Decided as I'm going on my own that I'm going on the train.

ZZ Top on shuffle play on the Walkman, plus Motley Crue's "The Dirt" to read.  Time should fly by...

A great book indeed. I first read it when invigilating an exam. I had to work really hard to stifle my laughter after reading the opening few lines about moosehead.

Neil Strauss's writing style is very easy to follow and leads to a very quick read.

I have very little interest in the Crue, but I have read the book.  It's alright.
