Hi Dragoneti,

The amount of Wet you get depends on how loud you turn the wet part of your rig. The volume of your Wet amp becomes the fx mix control of your parallel loop. It just sounds clearer than with a loop (though I'm not sure yet if I'll settle on the hassle that comes with it.

Regarding the volume, the amp surely sounds good in all out Beast mode even at TV volumes, however if you play crunch/cleans and dynamic styles it sounds better the more you turn it up.

Just try it in a shop is what i'd suggest if you're interested in the amp.

Thanks for your reply Hunter!

Yeah i know that the volume of my power amp effects the wetness of the signal, but i have a feeling that 2 cabs are tougher to blend to my ears (the dry one has g12h30s the wet one g12m25s) so it may be better on one cab as a "stereo".

Taking the chance, let me describe my current Dry/wet setup as a reference for others interested (but also to hear some suggestions on its improvment). Guitar goes directly to DSL50 input, (no fx on the dsl50 - the dry part) DSL speaker out to THD hotplate and from there to a 1960a cab with g12h30s 70's anivvesary. From the THD's line out goes a cable to a TC nova modulator (or several mxr evh stompboxes depanding on the mood) and from it to a boss DD20 and sometimes a RV5 and then to the power amp section of a TSL60 (fx mix to full with clean channel selected, volume of, as to bypass completely the preamp section of the amp) and finally to a framus dragon 412 cab with g12m25s.

So volume wise it not the uncontrolable moster that some describe, at least in comparison with other tube mashall stacks. Yeah i will try before i buy, dammit i just lost an opportunity to buy a 2 year old 800RI in mint condition (played only in a bedroom enviroment also) for 800 euros and very close to my home. When i found about it, was already sold to someone else. :(

Oh well... i guess that in about 25 days...i'll buy one...new :D
