Need pickup advice!

Hello chaps!

New member/long time lurker looking for advice...

Recently i have come into possesion of a ibanez iceman 200 and am in need of new pickups!

I want to put some humbucker sized p-90's in it however i have no idea what i want past that :S

I'm into black sabbath mostly and am looking for a good Tony Iommi tone however i'd also like to be able to do some NWOBH aswell.

I believe the iceman has a mahogany body and a maple neck

Any help is appreciated!

 Firstly , Welcome !  :D

I have no direct experience of the pickup I am about to suggest ;  but I am surmising that the 'Pig 90' is going to be recommended. A ceramic Warpig derivative, in a 'Mississipi Queen ' type casing and allen key polepieces (?)   I have the Mississipi Queens, which can be assertive when required, but It would seem much more appropriate ( for your tonal needs - and a Mahogany body )  to look at the Pig 90.  I see that Tom ( amongst others ) has a Pig 90 - and has put a demo up in the 'Player's' section.

I hope that gets the ball rolling .  :)

After looking at some demos, it certainly sounds the part!

Do you have to order them custom? I can't find pig-90s on the main shop page :(

You haven't found because they aren't there...
They're special order, but as long as I remember, the same price than normal P90... You shall give Tim a message about them!
