Oyster Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is nice.

I've given up though, nearly 5 weeks with no booze!

Buckfast. My old flatmate was an ugly girl from Glasgow.
Needless to say the Buckfast made bad things happen

Was there something in the news recently about Buckfast making people violent?

whatevers 241 at the sainsburys local across the road. in all seriousness,  they have some great deals on good wine sometimes - been a bit naff since xmas though

one of the best bottles i have ever had was a 94  rioja my folks brought back from spain a couple of years ago and let me have when i got engaged, it was 14 when we opened it.  generally not a wine you drink that old so i wasnt sure what to expect... it was too good!!!

I can't think about Blue Nun without remembering that classic Alan Partridge scene in the restaurant when they cancel his show:

" Monkey Tennis?"
and, of course,
" Smell my cheese you mother!"

Yeah, there's quite a campaign against it at the minute from MSPs and the media. Lots of blame getting flung at the caffeine content. A lot of corner shops and wee offys in Scotland only get licenses on the basis they don't sell Buckfast.

Nonsense, I reckon.

I completely agree - it's as if no other alcohol brand causes violence.  Classic MP behaviour - find a convenient scapegoat rather than admit to the systemic problems that cause crime and do something about it like improve prosperity and education. That's too complex.  No, blame it on a tonic wine made in Devon, that's the answer.

That said, they should ban Stella Artois.  That is lunatic soup.

I'm begining to think that I'm the only person in the UK who thinks wine is chuffin aweful.  I just can't stand the stuff........ And you can stick your olives up your arse too, I'm off for a real ale and a packet of pork scratchings
Advice worth what you just paid for it.

Spoken like a real man ToneMonkey.  I completely agree with you, it's just that I look more like Kerry Katona with each passing day so I want to get the calories down without any of that truly appalling drying out business.

I looked very much like the first picture except with close cropped hair.  My tits are marginally bigger than hers.  If I looked anything like the second picture I'd have no complaints at all.  In fact I'd just stay in all day and feel myself all over.  This post is starting to get weird.

I am in agreement with you on this - apart from the pork scratchings.
I think I hate being indecisive.
