Can you identify this song?
« on: February 04, 2010, 09:30:19 PM »
It's an oldie, chorus goes like "oh oh na na // oh oh na na...". I keep confusing it with all the young dudes if that helps. It's a really famous mainstream song but i can't for the life of me pin it down. :s

It depresses me greatly to hear that described as an oldie, especially as I was 18 at the time :(

How do you think the rest of us feel?

(I was in my mid 30s I guess)

I even sung it live ... (we was making an effort to "get down with the kids".... amazingly it worked in the gig or so we did it in )

When I worked in Soundcontrol in Birmingham, they were one of the many "local legends" that used to come in, perturbed that I obviously had no clue who they were

Then there was dave Hill, who everyone would pretend to have no idea who he was, since he'd introduce himself as Dave Hill from Slade.

Yeah, 1996 an oldie?!  That was, like.... yesterday in music terms.

The other day I was thinking I must dig out that "new" Sabbath album, Reunion, I've only listened to it once or twice..... turned out it was released in 1998.  I couldn't work out what had happened to the last decade.  :?

Hey, all I know is the onomatopoeia in the chorus and you people expect me to know how old the song is?

Still, I'd have been 7 when it came out so that makes it an oldie in my book.
