marathon tour of germany

9 dates in 9 days - could be a heavy schedule.

obviously, i love germany and i'm very excited, though the most I've played on the trot was three nights, which to be honest was a bit too much. any ideas how to handle the pressure of the road? how can i keep it fresh each night?

the other question is flying V, strat or steinberger? ;) ;)

No joke this would be a dream come true. Gwem is a cool bloke and I love Germany. Plus I'll be bored shiteless during my summer break. Plus my crowning musical achievement is lugging a 2x12 Vox Valvtronix, bass drum and two guitar hardcases up 3 flights of stairs at the Cathouse in Glasgow. I'm a mule.

I've carted many an ampeg 8x10 about. A 2x12 combo up the Cathouse stairs by yourself is worse. It's a four man job minimum getting an 8x10 up them.

Hellish layout for a venue. Then you've the classic grand 30 seconds walk down the road, which is almost as bad. Lifts? Pah! :lol:

Last night when I was playing a solo, someone from the crowd put a hat upside down in front of me, and then people started throwing coppers into it. Not quite sure what to make of that!!

The people of Halle are very friendly and party hard. Its 3am on a Monday night and people still drinking and dancing. Snapped my A-string during Breaking The Law, which wasn't ideal.. Need to find ttime to change the strings more often.
