For a bit of fun (with the possible intention of buying her back!), I am trying to trace my former beautiful girl....a black Gibson Les Paul Deluxe. Can you help? These are the details:

- Built in 1980
- Black with Cream / chrome (As per factory)
- Non-engraved mini humbuckers
- 1980's hardcase with BLUE lining (not red).
- One cracked machine head
- Dent in headstock above logo (where I dropped a metal piggybank on it!)
- Totally worn on the neck/back from playing abuse
- Faded top from years of gigging.

Last known to be in Northern Ireland (Belfast I think!) when I sold her to a lucky Irish man in around 2004-05.

I'd imagine she is long gone, but if you think you know the owner, then I would be interested to hear from you!

The only LP deluxe I know of in active gigging use round the 'fast is a sunburst one, but I can cross-post this to Fastfude, the Belfast music "scene" messageboard and maybe take a gander at any second-hand gear in the local shops for you if you like.

I bought it on ebay in 2007. I stripped it down, put in a tummy cut, routed it for EMGs and a Floyd, sprayed it with matte black primer and did a DIY scallop job. Obviously it's much better now, I'll sell it back to you for 3ŁK

Can't help you tracing that guitar, but I CAN tell you that the LP Deluxe owned by my brother-in-law is one of the nicest sounding, best playing guitars I've every come across.

Lots of love for the LP Deluxe from South Essex!

and i thought the Korg Kaosspad retro-fit was generally well done, if a little shaky in parts - maybe use a template next time?

I fancy a proper LP Deluxe one day - I just have my Adrian Smith inspired Agile. That mini-humbucker neck is a great thing though
