Back in the day, In used to have a 2 x15 Selmer cab for my bass amp. The amp head was not a lightweight but there was no rush of volunteers when it was time to move the cab.I used to have to get it up the stairs when I got home.My bass amp now weighs around 90lbs( no idea what that is in kilometers) and lifting that in and out of the car is a challenge. That is one reason I now work as a guitarist -the amp can be carried far more easily ( Laney VC30 2x 10).

The studio I rehearse in has a big 8x10 bass cab. It moves a lot of air. I wouldn't like to haul that thing around though.
