I got stormy monday 7 string pickups but...
« on: February 20, 2010, 03:51:38 AM »
I thought i ordered painkiller 7 string pick ups. Now i need to know how to return but I tried calling the number on the site but I don't think it works, probably cuz' i'm in the US, I don't know,  or care because I just need to return these because I'm pretty sure I don't want vintage humbuckers for metal, so any help would be appreciated, and if you need any more info just ask, wrong section probably but I'm in a rush at the moment so it wasn't my top priority to find the right section.

What number did you call and when?
If it was just before you posted this message I'd be surprised if you got an answer as it's about 4am on Saturday morning in the UK.

Oh ya good point, well I'm just a bit distressed because they said 14 days to return after purchase, and its been 11, and I called the number at the bottom of this page http://www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk/shop/conditions.php
Am I going to be able to return them for pain killer 7 string humbuckers?

I haven't returned anything so I don't have personal experience but Tim & Co are nice guys so I'm sure they can help you out. Shoot them an email or send a PM to Tim and then try calling them again during office hours.

Totally OT, but is it just me or did anyone else had a WTF moment seeing the painkiller described as a "vintage" pup  :gne:

Oh wait - I obviously missed the subject line. Doh  :?

I tried  calling them, around 3 pm their time yesterday, and I left a message but did not receive any calls back, and I emailed him them through the message on the main site. How long do they usually take to get back to you? I'm just worried I won't be able to return these pickups.

Yesterday would be Saturday and BKP work a Monday - Friday week (like many manufacturing businesses)
They do start early in the day - so if you allow for the time difference  you should catch them during their business hours

i just mailed Tim and got an answer in 3 minutes! i don't think there will be any problem even after the 14 days time limit, because you actually ordered something completely different (strange error, though... have you tried testing the output with an ohmeter? they could have just used the wrong case)... usually mails are answered in few hours.
Mule, MQ, Stockholm, CS, RY, MM, PK, ANB, CNB, AWP, CWP, PiG90...

I checked again the email I got when I ordered, and it says stormy mondays, but I remember clicking the tab and choosing pain killer, maybe I clicked a little to the side or something by accident. When I saw the confirmation email, I wasn't looking at the whole thing I was looking for an expected arrival or something, so I missed the where it said stormy mondays. I hope I can return them. I don't think it would make sense to put blues pickups in a seven string guitar. It said stormy mondays in the package too.
