Yo.

so im doing a couple of new bands and one is going to bit more effects driven them im used to, which is cool, but It means i need to put a pedal board together.
so far i have the usual suspect devices, but i've always been a bit conscious of having lots of stuff before my amp. my avenger has to FX loop incase you're wondering.

Dimbag sig Crybaby
Chicago Iron Parababy
jam Waterfall
Malekko 300 Bright Analog Delay
Boss DD-3 Digital Delay

not much but it has the potential to be cool.
Now i want to switch the fx out of the circuit if i need. multiple bonus to being able to do this as im sure we know.

I prefer compact pedals that do exactly what i need rather than big pedals with millions of functionality that i pay for a never really use. This thing below is £56+postage from hotrox uk. Also saw one on denmark street which is probably massively overpriced. I didn't get chance to play it. Anyone used this or has a similar setup and wants to suggest something I could look at?

on reflection buying one for money was dumb.
a couple of quid, a hand drill, a reamer and some good old 60/40 later

wow that looks cool, sort of like a home made A/b Switch? Before i saw that I was gonna suggest a boss line selector pedal - not sure if you've seen those, good for setups without a loop and lots of pedals infront. I don't know how you cope without a loop though, I find mine is indispensable for modulation effects and noise gate and sonic maximiser and jamMan...hahha the list goes on!

I think it should work as an A/B switch, but i don't think it would work in reverse. ie sending a choice of two signals to one amp.

its a loop select, the other side of the pedal has the input and FX send, the side you can see in the photo is the output as FX return. the switch bypasses the loop. true bypass an all that.

I had a line selector once but i wasn't into it

I know you've already got something, but I'll contribute anyway :)

I have a Lehle Little Lehle which is pants.  The switch makes this bloody great "CLUNK" when you switch the pedals in & out.  Don't know if the Little Lehle II is an improvement.

A far superior product is the Boss PSM-5 - yes, really (don't laugh).  It's been discontinued a while, but you can snap 'em up for around £40 on ebay.  The switch is whisper quiet, it doesn't seem to suck any tone or add any noise.  It just works.

Might be worth sending Lehle an email about your unit, i've got a D.Loop, and there's no clunking or noise at all when switching, so there may be something wrong with yours.

DMoney, you might want to look into putting a buffer in there, but i'm sure you're already planning other things (judging by your amp modding antics!) :)

Red Onion one looks cool.
Mine works fine! I just gave it a good test...

in the loop i put the dimebag wah and a cheapo chinese chorus pedal.

with the effects off, just switching the loop off made my tone brighter, noticeably!
I played about turning on the chorus and switching it in, then chorus with wah in and out at the same time...

works a charm and i spent very little on it!
could do with a brighter LED though.
the one in there is a standard green 5mm with a 1.8K resistor on it.
