The Bareknuckle plectrum you get when you order a pickup has replaced the Jazz III picks I've been using for years  :o

It's just so comfortable and the tone is much better, plus it doesn't get in the way like the old Dunlop Tortex picks I used years ago. Damn!


On top of that, I put a Nailbomb in my Carvin and I'm very pleased with it now. None of the grittiness or 'stiffness' that the Duncan Distortion had and much better sustain.

Bought some Fender picks hoping that they would be similar in feel but nope. The bareknuckle pick it slightly smaller with a smooth bevel. The Fender picks feel awkward when compared. Soon as I lose these I'll get a big pack of the BK's. :x

i like very much the BKP picks (and they're damn exclusive, to boost my snob vein... :)) but i keep preferring my gay pink dunlops... plus the turtle is absolutely lovely.

The photo was of course posted with respect and affection for good old Tim. I saw it rather randomly, and the lustrous hair just triggered an association - as one remembers friends.   This  thread being a merry outing for an existing picture, as opposed to trawling for something satirical for the thread. 

(There could also be some hair envy involved ).  :lol:
