Nope, not a new cab. This is strictly a "New" cr@p day. Coming home from work, I found a reasonably sound, seemingly fully functional Encore Strat copy lying in an alley, missing it's strings, and looking a little lovelorn. On closer inspection at home, it has a reasonably true neck, and the body seems to be solid wood of some kind, The pickups are, obviously, utter dreck, and most of the hardware leaves much to be desired. But it has me thinking. Is this a project in waiting, or just some kindling and paperweights?
