Yeah, he did 'blow it' but that's the life he chose to lead. He's paid the ultimate price for it, but it was his decision to carry on drinking. At the end of the day, he didn't deserve to die and it's sad (in my opinion of course). I think it's getting a lot of coverage because it's been quite a long, drawn out affair. He's been ill for so long. And also, he's being remembered for the footballing genius he was. He was probably the best football player the world has ever seen, and in my opinion, he deserves the coverage. Regardless of what he's done in his private life, he was a genius on the pitch and that's how he'll be remembered. And his death might also serve as an example of what happens if you take too many chances with your health. No-one is invincible. I bet he's up there now laughing his arse off at these debates, whilst polishing his boots to line up with the Heaven Eleven :D:D.
