Aftermath and Cold Sweat ordered! Both with black covers and black adjustment screws. Should be here in a week or 2 probably according to my dealer.

Reviews when they're here, I'm excited!

And they're in!

Amazing pickups. Not as loud as the EMG's but very clear, not as compressed but very dynamic, crunchier, thicker and more articulate. These are a hundred times better than the EMG's IMO. Never heard a pickup being this raw and aggressive anywhere.

I got both of these in the black Warpig-style housing and boy do they look awesome and mean.

Here's the first rhythm track of the Aftermath. Going through my 6505 and G12T75 speakers. This is the most generic sounding tone testing riff you'll ever hear but I wanted to hear how it would sound quad tracked easily. Almost no editing, just a tiny bit of EQ. Will do more clips soon I guess with decent riffs and decent editing.

Cheeky bloody so and so, ordering my pickup! Kept that quiet.

What attracted you to it?

Just thought - I wonder if with more people ordering one, the name 'aftermath' is gonna stick. That would be cool - I gave it that name :D

Hah, actually it was Tim that recommended it to me, for a custom 7 I'm having built. I wanted something that is tight like the Painkiller but without the massive upper mid spike, and that doesn't thin out on the higher strings. Apparently the Aftermath fits the bill!

Yes it does!

I'm curious (see above); did he call it The Aftermath?

Sly old dog!

If it gets called The Davidian; I suggested that too! Just saying (though he was already thinking of that).

I dont think Tim was too enamoured with The Aftermath - as in the song, not the name (he liked the name)

Hmm, I feel like Davidian might be more in keeping with the "classic" song titles the pickups tend to be named after.

Thanks man! Awesome. Didn't know there were only a couple made. Cool stuff.  :)

Without a doubt the nicest bridge pickup I've had in a guitar so far. And the Cold Sweat is very sweet too. Next up is a push-pull pot for in the volume pot position to split the Cold Sweat for cleans.

The Davidian is an awesome name too. As is the Aftermath. Whatever it's being called, I have it on my guitar and it's going nowhere  8)

Hmm. Considering getting my A-Pig 7 to a C-Pig.

What's the difference between C-Pig and Aftermath, esp. output...?
A-Pig 7s, Miracle Man & Mule, Cold Sweats... Expensive kit and no talent posse.

Only one made for anyone thats not tim, till you got yours (mine, if you need it spelled out for you).

Chris, its not as hot or as bassy as a C-pig, and has more mids and is tighter and a lot less compressed.

Very interested! If I ask a US dealer to order, should I continue to call it the Aftermath? Normal price?

The Davidian? Does it sound like Machine Head?
I had the impression you wanted it for technical Death Metal MDV?!?
