I've turned down/walked away from buying a second guitar this week so I'm not completely insane!

What was it Dave? Don't tell me it was a Minarik  :D

It was an Edwards LP Junior in TV Yellow.....

I'll admit I'm not too fussed about the looks, but Dave has some killer looking guitars anyway so to have something different with top notch build and a real player is going to take some pressure off the top flight stuff when it comes to gigging.

That's the general plan, plus as I said I like trying stuff out!  I've tried to cut my guitar cache down to single figures but I really can't drop it that low.  So I've given up trying!

I'm trying to accept the fact that a lot of choice (when it comes to gigging) is a GOOD thing....

i really like the sound of padauk - one of my favorite alternative woods.  Its not as mapley as some would have you believe.  A nice attack and can still growl nicely

Cheers Wez - I thought you'd mentioned it at some point.  I believe it's a bit of a cross between rosewood and mahogany?

I'll have to make sure I have it on me for you to check out next time we meet up.

Nope, I came across one elsewhere.

£380 with a gig bag, which seemed a fair price for a nitro finish and an SD P-90.....

Oh do you actually work?

I thought you were a man of independent means

Nice one, looking forward to hearing about this one. Is it "at home" waiting, or sat in the corner of the office looking at you while you're working?

It's sat in the boot of the car!  Too distracting to have it in eye sight.....

So you're on here talking about it instead.

I'd jack in work for the day, don't think your hearts in it
Advice worth what you just paid for it.

just watch somebody doesn't nick it out of your boot (unless your car is in view).
