So I guess I will go with the shredmaster or the booster. How would I attach a bright switch by the way

On which of these circuits ?-)

Anyway : as far as I can tell (from very limited understanding wo please some correct me if I say something wrong) a "bright" switch is mainly selecting either a lower value capacitor or a higher value resistor in a RC circuit (think putting a higher value pot or a lower value capacitor in your guitar's tone control).  IOW, it's not _adding_ highs, only removing less (or changing the cutoff frequency)

Now I wait for ThoseWhoKnow to correct me

Bright mod does change the cap value in the RC circuit to change the cutoff point.

Here's Juansolo's Shredder, you can easily see where it's wired to the DPDT switch.

Here's mine, in a bigger box, which also has asymmetric/symmetric diode clipping on the switch on the right, this replaces the two back to back diodes on the board.

Sometime I will replace the HUGE cap, it was all I had at the time.
You will also notice the lack of small box caps, just the big boiled sweet looking ones squeezed on there.

What he said (though he means resistor when he's talking about that ancient thing). Still haven't forgiven him for making me wedge all those caps on that board. It was a royal PITA.
When you´re racing, it's life. Anything that happens before or after is just pies.
