« on: April 01, 2010, 06:22:53 PM »
its been a while since we had one of these. currently on my hitlist:

Gibson Firebird 1/SG junior
EVH phase 90
BKP t-tops
something to put the t-tops in
Bravewood '67 strat with BKP custom 69 set
70s Gibson Flying V
BKP Blackguard 50

edit: ideally i'll find a 70s V with the orginal pups swapped out for cheap

Why the EVH Phase 90 and not the Script or '74?

Why the EVH Phase 90 and not the Script or '74?

it has the switch to change between script and block mode. maybe i should look into seeing if the vintage ones sound better. modulation fx are usually something i have GAS for, and then end up selling a few months later though ;) am nervous of splashing too much on it

Something nice with minibuckers and/or a Goldtop might make me sit up and take notice....

I'm running a Script now and it's great. I still prefer the Maestro, but at something like 1/10 the size, the Script is much easier for gigging!!

A tele
A P90 equiped guitar (maybe a SG or LP junior)
A really good acoustic (I just love my dad's Kasuga - something in that ballpark)
A talkbox
A new amp (funny enough I don't know which)
Mississippi Queens, Stormy Monday/Apaches, Emeralds, Nailbomb (bridge)

An SG, possibly Tokai, so I can attach A vibrola to it and possibly some PG Blues.

Fender vintage hot rod 62 strat.

A new amp, possibly tweed?

Duesenberg starplayer in black.

Gibson lp junior 57 reissue.

Idealy I'd he able to have enough money for all these plus a car. :(
Driving in my car, smoking my cigar, the only time i'm happys when i'm playing my guitar!

Managed to shuffle around quite a lot of stuff this Easter and I am much happier with what I've got now; fits my needs a lot better. Only things I might still get are a strat and a Digitech RP1000 for going direct. I find it hard to say no to good deals though!

A les paul of some sort to put the PG Blues in

Fender Thinline 72 Deluxe Telecaster - After playing one today at my local store I'm seriously considering doing a trade-in deal for it.

I find playing with a "semi" less than satisfying.... I like the output to hit me in my face.  :?
