I now have GAS for the Lion Jonathan has for sale on his site:

That is possibly the nicest looking Lion I have seen! If I could afford it right now I would have snapped that up right away.
BKP's own: Irish Tours, Mule(b), Black Dog(b)
BKP's had: Riff Raffs, Nailbombs

Not really GASing for much at the moment, but it's been a while since I bought any BKPs.

I want some Tele pickups - probably some BG50s, maybe a Brown Sugar bridge - and a set of Emeralds, perhaps for my McCarty.  We'll see....
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

I was watching Shine a Light yesterday (great music, sh!t singing) and was thinking of maybe getting a Brown Sugar bridge in future. Either that or a BG50 bridged. Undecided at the moment although you can't polish a turd (my playing) so it probably won't make any difference which one I go for.
I think I hate being indecisive.

Is that the Stones movie?  I'll take your word, won't be watching!

Someone (Jonathan?) said the BS bridge has similar output to the BG50, but more midrange.  I thought that might go better with the TV Jones I'll be using in the neck.

It certainly is the Stones movie. It is a shame the singing is bad (and there are a few cringe worthy moments with Jagger sucking up to the Clintons) as the rest of the music is  very good.

If the Brown Sugar has more midrange it could be a better bet for me. Will have to give it a think.

Definitely got a few things on the GAS list. Starting with the least attainable:

A PRS SC250 (now out of production, but there's a few still kicking around - sadly most at over £2k  :( )
A PRS Custom 24 (plenty around, all £2k +  :( )
A Fender John Mayer Strat (my local dealer has one, and I'm not daring to play it, just in case!)
A Fender USA Deluxe HSS Strat
A Line 6 POD X3 Live
A new speaker for my small amp.

I did have serious GAS for a Fender Jim Root Tele until earlier this week, when I tried one and realised I really missed having a tone control. Back to the drawing board for a reasonably priced, mahogany bodied, twin HB metal guitar that doesn't have a stick-thin neck and a pancake-flat board.
Warpigs.

Yeah, I've been looking at PRSes this week, after realising that (a) most of the models I like have been discontinued; (b) the prices seem to have gone up quite a bit (although I don't follow them closely).

I really hate the look of the new bound-neck models.  Fortunately, in true PRS style, they'll probably be short-lived.

I keep going back to it, so I'm making it my goal to get one of these:

And most likely the M-1000 and the RG1570 will have to go in place of it but it'll be damn worth IT!

@ Jonny I might have to sell my SV5470 because i am becoming strapped for cash and the bills continue to pour in. I am going to try to sell my oud and PRS SE first, but the PRS is beat to hell and i wont be able to get much. If I have to sell the SV I will let you know.
All I want to be is normally insane.

wondered how long it would take to see that finish on a factory guitar. although, in fairness, i think most of the luthiers who did it were inspired by the gibson voodoo series

I got a bit of completely unexpected gas last weekend and have a new beauty sat in the spare room. I havent posted it up yet, as me and the wife are just about to have an NBD! Back off to the hospital now, but when I get a chance i'll post it up.

Cheers
