Choosing my BKP set..

Hello guys,
I'm starting a big project in order to have my custom guitar.
This guitar will be a LP/SG style guitar (mahogany body with maple top).
The guitar will have quite the same specs of this:

..and will have 9 strings!
I'm putting a Schaller piezo bridge (string thru the body) and the wiring will be based on the MM Petrucci (with the switch on the upper horn in order to use piezo/humb/piezo+humb). You know with 9 strings I'd like to have the perfect clean sound...

As you may understand I'm a big Mastodon fan, so..ok..nice & clear clean sound, but I'd like to have a huge output, too on the bridge pickup.
I love my LP Custom sound and I kinda like to re-create it on this guitar.
What do you think about Miracle Man (Bridge) + Cold Sweat (Neck)?

Last question..the middle position in the MM Petrucci is the sound of both the pickups splitted...and I was wondering on having the same thing on mine to be matched with the piezo, too..

Do you think I can have a good mix with the BKP I told you?

9-strings? You going to fit a BKP in there? I thought they only went up to 8-string widths at the moment?

I'm guessing it's basically 6 strings with 3 of them doubled up?  Like a "partial 12-string"?

BTW:
Yes basically the guitar has 9 strings but it's likea 12string guitar without the "double" string on the lower strings (E and A); So I don't think I'll need a 7 string PU for that.

So what about the Miracle Man (Bridge) + Cold Sweat (Neck)?

Why did you discard this option?  :(

You want to be able to have good cleans, so the Miracle man isn't the best choice for the bridge. It does passable cleans, sure, but many of the other pickups will give much better results there.

With SGs specifically, the advice is usually to go very high output, or low output - not the middle ground. Assuming yours will have this same SG characteristic (big assumption!), I'd be thinking Nailbomb (AlNiCo).

Eric: why 'Hell no', and more importantly, what instead?! Just 'Hell no' is really unhelpful...

Alnico Warpig sounds good, Cermaic may be 'too tight' for the kind of Mastodon-like snarl you need. 

Seen as its most similar construction wise, to an LP, maybe look at Holy Divers? I heard somewhere they work really well in LPs. Dont quote me on that.

I don't think that suggestion is for SGs specifically, it's more for all-mahogany guitars (which the typical SG is). This one is maple topped.

Listening to Mastodon, the only ceramic model I would suggest is Cold Sweat. It's not that sweet played clean as an Alnico, but better than Miracle man. YMMV of course.

What will your tuning be, and what is the scale length? Those are also important for choosing the pickup. Mahogany neck, I assume. If you go very low, I'd suggest the Cold Sweat for keeping the bottom together.

Bill Kelliher uses mostly duncan distortions

the holy diver is my favorite BKP, but it's way too open and clean for that

Nail Bomb!!!
Harmonic, rich, loud, clear. Meth'ed up chainsaw on steroids. Lots of harmonics. 90's hair metal tones like Lynch Mob, Extreme, that kinda thing. Might be too hot for baritone or super low tunings.
Cleans up OK, pairs with neck pick ups fine, very clear cleans when paired with the neck.
