Emerald bridge / Bogner 100B
« on: April 09, 2010, 03:10:49 PM »

This is a small piece, basically a drumloop, then a single track rhythm with blue channel and a solo track added with red channel. All mic'ed with an SM57 on a G12H30 (in a front ported 2x12).

Effects added in Logic, some room on the rhythm guitar, some good splash of tape delay on the leads and adaptive limiter in the master.

All done on Edwards LP with the EMerald bridge HB.

Probably it's the notebook's speakers, but I find the rhythm guitar with a loss of bass/mass... but the lead is awesome!

Thx Emilio, yeah it's possible, I didn't go for the fattest of rhythms, I think if there would be a bass line it would work well. When I turn it up on my laptop, it sounds fat, maybe some EQ or compression would have helped. I went for a Marshall kind of flavour and usually there's not much bass with those, they crunch better with a tighter bottom.
