VHII Bridge - Rock Improvisation - modded plexi

Guitar: My Custom Strat (ash strat body, jackson shape ebony/maple neck)

Amp: Marshall 1959SLP RI (modded by me)
Marshall 1960A cab

Analog Delay in effects loop

Mic: Shure SM57 (straight, just off center, bottom right speaker, approx 1 inch away from grille)

Clip is at bedroom volume levels, the amp has the volume switch to 60% mode.
___________________________________

I was jamming around with some ZZ Top style riffs and came up with his number so decided to lay it down on the BR1200CD. The drums don't sound right happening because I didn't spend any time EQ'ing them, but they were mostly for timing anyway.

The rhythm guitar on the left is the amp stock on high treble volume 10, but the rhythm guitar on the left and the lead guitar are the amp with the 4th preamp tube mod activated and both gain stage controls on 6/10.

For some of it it's just aimless pentatonic wandering with not much point but that's because I was paying more attention to the amp sound

Great tone!

This is how a ZZ-Top and Hendrix jam sounded like in the 1970's. (probably)

I found it interesting how I could still get a decent groove going after the G and B strings had both snapped
