I use Snake Oil Brand, DR or D'Addario. Snake Oil last a really long time (their bass strings last years!). They are more expensive, but if you look at the time they last they come back into line. DR Pure Blues are the second choice, but I am not that keen on their 11-50 set gauges. I sometimes use the BK sets for setup, but a lot of the time I give them away.
