Yeah, but 2 years ago 1 GBP = 1.9965 USD.....

Anyway, shut up Phil, glad you're getting a good deal Lew.

haha, man! Yea I know what ya mean. You scared the shitee out of me though, I REALLY panicked and was googling exchange rates like a mad man in case you knew something I didn't

Nah, I was just saying that by ordering from the US you'd be suffering costs you wouldn't have to pay if it was a UK builder.  But I guess the basic price must be a lot less!  :)
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds
BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

Ta for the comments :)

Philly, just got the invoice - $1600

Anyone used the Tonepros  AVT2 bridge? That's what it's getting. The body should have gone to the finisher now for it's silverburst finish (front and back) :D

Sounds a good price indeed! :D

I've got an AVT2, it's a good unit.  Very, very similar to the Pigtail wraparound, but not as lightweight (the Pigtail is aluminium).

I contacted Blackmachine about buying a B6 too but he still hasn't got back to me. Scott wanted to use the Hipshot bridge at first. I'm looking forward to seeing the finish - I gave him these pics as reference.

I really like the silverburst finish, but something tells me that Lew is going to have a less than tasteful approach to the hardware - purple knobs, oh dear

$1600 for a custom guitar is good going too, can't grumble about that - don't know how anyone can run a business (at a reasonable profit) and knock out handmade guitars for that kind of cash.

less than tasteful is my middle name

It works out at a good deal 'cause of the exchange rate but the price is about normal for a bolt-on isn't it?

He uses CNC to cut everything and outsources to a local finisher. So the most labored part is likely the assembly and fretting? I think he sells carved top/set neck etc... closer to 2500.
