Its a blue label, Eclat standard in Blueburst. Great condition, pretty much like new. small amount of nutwear but thats all. no dinks, bumps, scratches or anything.

Im guessing around £500

There's a new one here for £679 so if it's nearly mint somebody might spend £500

I usually put things on ebay with no reserve, advertise with good photos for the auction ending on a Friday or Saturday night (helps if bidders are drunk), every time I have done that I have got a fair market price.

Why are you selling it?

That's interesting, I usually go for Sunday evening on the basis that they'll be in then, but they'll be out on Friday and/or Saturday.  How late do you have them finish?

About 8.30pm based on my logic that they will be a few beers to the good then but not yet gone to the pub or fell asleep watching cr@p Saturday night TV.

There's probably a bigger audience on a Sunday but less likely to be tipsy and probably spent up from the weekend.
Most guys that can spend more on a guitar are probably older and don't go out much anyway.

It would be interesting to try 2 identical guitars starting on different days....

Im just selling it because I don't play it very much. I'd like something abit cheaper that I can take apart and mod.

I'v tried selling it twice now. one ending on a sunday at around 10 o'clock and one that ended on a friday at about 8 o'clock.

got three watcher both times but no biters!!!

If you're feeling brave you could go for a really low start price (and no reserve, as Tom said).

That way, you will definitely get watchers and you'll definitely get bids.... but I'm not convinced the final selling price ends up any higher.

I think the problem with something like a Fret-King is that it's a pretty obscure brand, so not many people will be looking for them specifically.  But if they're just browsing for "Les Paul type guitars" they may be interested.
