« on: April 23, 2010, 04:26:24 PM »
As a Buckethead Freak I thought I would share my new toy with you all!  :D
Benn waiting for it since last Nov but it just arrived on my doorstep!

It's a Monster! PDT_001

You can see from the pic that it makes my VOS LP Custom look like a toy!

Oversized Chambered body, 24 frets  & 27" Scale length! I Love it!!

BKP Equipped Guitars: Heritage H150(Abraxas B/N) Carvin CS6S (Aftermath B Stockholm N) DNA Jem (Warpig B/N Trilogy M) PAW Jem (Evo B/N Sinner M)  Maybe more!! :-)

That's massive!

Cool axe, I'm sure it will split the forum with love/hate but I think it's pretty unique.

I like the arcade button style kill switches. You could also use it as a paddle.
There are 10 kinds of people who understand binary.

Not my kind of thing at all, but it's cool.

It's so enormous though!  Are you a giant like Buckethead?

Grief, looks like an LP I could play without feeling like Goliath! Not sold on the red/white theme, but otherwise I thoroughly approve.

or are you going to like you've borrowed your dad's guitar?  :)

Seriously though, I think it's pretty cool.  Not one I'd choose, but I can certainly appreciate it.

I really like this. Plus, i would enjoy the extra size, because i am pretty large myself and most guitars feel rather like toys.
All I want to be is normally insane.

The body is chambered so you would expect it to be lighter than the VOS, but because of the bigger size the weight is actually exactly the same as I just weighed them both & both come in at around 10 lbs.
The tone is a lot brighter & more open, Obviously the VOS is 100% Mahogany so is quite dark tonally.
No tendency to nose dive at all.

Full spec is here:

As has been said... that's frickin' huge! With that I could move on from pretending to be a rockstar to pretending to be a rockstar AND a hobbit :)

Nice looking though!
