Tuscany guitars...
« on: May 01, 2010, 10:43:43 AM »
Anyone know anything about these?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Tuscany-Rush-Custom-Les-Paul-Black-Floyd-Rose-/290430485242?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item439f0182fa

Been thinking about some sort of floyd equipped Les Paul on and off for a while and these seem reasonably priced...

There's some info in here (including some salesmanship from the US and UK distributors!).  Seems they're made in Vietnam.

Thanks Philly! I think I'd probably need to see/play one before making a decision. (um, what's happened to my impulsive, blind buying over the internet nature!?  :o )

If you want to get that feeling back, I have a, er... "friend" who has a Tokai and PRS ending on eBay tomorrow....

there was a thread on them at musicradar, i think. if i remember correctly (i haven't tried them myself), someone thought they were the usual mid-range style guitars- you'd definitely want to try them first, kind of thing.

there's a Burny Les Paul that comes with a Floyd Rose and a Fernandes sustainer. Saw one in Oxford guitar gallery for £699. Looked well built.

I love the idea of a 'Super LP'. Only the other day i was reading a Guitarist from about 94 that reviewed a Roscoe LP that was a 1 Pick up Floyd equipped reverse headstock beauty. It looked great!
