I mainly stick to seiko and Citizen watches. Good spec and quality whilst not being too expensive, I have 2 kinetic and 1 atomic. all are sports watches and I'm happy with them.

Story.
I went to a local shopping mall a few years ago as my brother was looking for a watch. He was going to to get either a Rolex, TAG or Omega and he was talking around £2000 - £3000 which I told him was just ridiculous considering his earnings and lifestyle. Anyway, I left him in a ritzy jewelers for just 2 minutes and when I came back he was on the verge of buying a gold (as in solid gold) Rolex SubMariner!!!! £12,000 for a watch!!!!! I literally dragged him out of the shop.... yes I was embarrassed to physically drag him out  but thank God I did!

I'm also a person who is really into watches. I own/have owned my fair share of watches. I even own several watches just now that I use for different occasions. I think the most I have ever spent on a watch though was about £350. I have drooled over those Omega Seamaster Bond watches for years, I just don't think I'm brave enough to spend that kind of money on, I fear that after I buy it I'll only want to buy watches in that price range . However, if I do muster up the courage one day it would have to be the blue dial one, who knows perhaps WAS will one day get the better of me

You need a nice plain-but-smart CWC 'G10' for everyday / general  use.   :)  My own personal favourite - and as such, the only watch I own:

Also have the Seamaster in blue (and wear it every day) - mine is an auto (rather than quartz) and is need of service as it loses about 30 seconds a day...

Bought it in the States when the exchange rate was quite good....

This talk of the accuracy of watches makes me very happy with my lorus - I was a bit dissapointed this morning, when I checked it and found it 14 seconds fast after I set it round christmas, but now that 10th of a second per day is looking pretty good!

Nice looking watch!

I'm not really into that sorta stuff myself, my current watch was an anniversary present a few years ago and that's enough for me as I'm not really into style etc (as anyone who's ever met me will know!)

My former manager at work was telling me about this watch he had that cost him about £7k, and he kept going on about how great it was but that no watch repairer outside of Bond Street in London would touch it if it ever needed repairs. He didn't take kindly to my asking him if it was any more accurate than the £60 watch I have in front of the rest of the office

As for the Ford Asbo; I'd love 1 as my next car, just not in Orange!  8)

Spaulding for Prime Minister!!
I have a better House of 1000 Corpses "T" But it's so obscene it can only be worn in select places!!

As for Harleys...point being that like many quality Guitars they're not exactly cheap!!
