Just looked up Audrey Hollander on google. Oh good lord!

Me too.  Luckily the laptop is angled away from the wife.

You've got to be a bit careful with that one. Modern laptop screens have much wider viewing angles than I often realise...
Or you can marry a girl who says "hmm, she's hot, who is that?" :D
This is, literally, the only improvement I would wish on my wife.
Praise the Sunn.

yeah, it does seem to border the line between complete pap and quite fun - the maid is definitely the highlight

Is it actually remotely scary, or is it yet another of these "horror soaps" like True Blood, Supernatural and the Vampire Diaries?

its creepier and less teenage than them - but not really scarier than your average american horror.  I did watch the first 5 in a row and it was enough to have that slight feeling of unease afterwards.  but generally its just a bit cheesy with no likeable characters... still watching it though

Yeah. I'm drawn in enough to want to see where things go, but I'm never itching to see the next. The first scene of the first episode was the scariest moment. It's mostly just odd.

Thanks guys, if it ever shows up on a Freeview channel I might give it a go.  Probably one episode before it tries my patience.
