Did you see the Christmas edition of Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow?  He did a duet of Fairytale of New York with Pixie Lott.

Which begs the questions:

i would assume he means Michael McIntyre.  a squeaky voice and some squinting has somehow made him one of the biggest comics in the UK.  he can be quite funny, but it gets very repetitive when he's on seemingly three times a day. and i agree with Nfe, that Fairytale... gag was dragged out beyond all belief.

Well, it's just like with music. The really good ones never get that successful. For instance, the biggest comedians in the US are people like Carlos Mencia, Dane Cook and that ####!! with the ventriloquist dolls. People have shite taste, mostly.

Yeah, but to be fair I thought he was on pretty good form in that particular show, apart from the Fairytale... bit.

In fact it was a very good show overall - only problem was that Rhod Gilbert was so extraordinarily funny he overshadowed everyone else, even the mighty Sean Lock.

EDIT: just to clarify... i'm not one of these internet "i wouldn't go out with that supermodel, her ears aren't perfectly symmetrical" type guys. About 50% of the time she is really pretty. just the other 50% of the time she's pretty meh (photoshopping?), plus the annoying overshadows it. i don't care how pretty you are if you're that annoying. :lol:
