As a somewhat chaste and elegant intermission for us older chaps,  who don't know who 'Cortana ' is  ; I was very taken by these two photos of Ladies from the age of silent film ( and beyond ).  Marie Doro , and Mary Pickford.  A bit of sweetness and Romance ...

Yes, the first Lady / photo was the original 'find' / winner for me also ;   but the rather sweet facial profile - and general sense of playful poise ,  was the reason the second got saved :  It just seemed very  celebratory in it's simple way.  :)

Perhaps we could commend the good Lady in question to an edifying course of floral hair adornment , or petticoat embroidery  ?    :wink:

( But obviously check the escape routes and wear stout ear defenders before you do ).

 :lol: Nah, I'm happy to stay out of that particular loop.  I decided long ago not to get into gaming, I waste too much time as it is!

The new Dr Who assistant is very pretty (she reminds me of Christina Ricci), but I've finally given up on Dr Who.  I don't like the way each new Doctor gets successively younger and more hip-and-cool, and there's always this will-they-won't-they romantic element with the assistants now.  I hate to sound prudish, but I think it's inappropriate.....

They'll probably get in Tinie Tempah (or, Lord save us, Dappy) when Matt Smith goes.  Innit.  :|
