He was old as the hills, but still, quite possibly the greatest human being to ever live, and to my mind the best illustration of the good that one person can do.

i had no idea who you were talking about, but i looked him up on wiki, and i know who you mean know. there was a fairly big thing in the guardian about him when he died, iirc.

Dont read the gardian. Or any other paper.

Though, I would expect it to be in the guardian over others, as I understand their general attitudes.

Also depressing that such an utter hero and warrior for selfless compassion died so invisibly; you couldnt bloody well get away from michael jacksons death, and what the $%&# did he do compared to Borlaug?
