Hey dudes

I only recently got shown Per Nilsson's playing... gatdamn does he have some interesting phrasing and very smooth chops. I just had to try and cover some of his stuff!
I'm playing my Blackmachine B2, with a new set of pickups - Rebel Yell in the bridge, and a VHII in the neck. What wonderful sounding pickups, they dominate pretty much any style out there. I couldn't be happier with them.
The tone is coming direct from my Fractal Axe-FX Ultra, using the Brown amp model into the Redwire Marshall/Greenback cab IR.

Let me know what you think!

Absolutely love Scar Symmetry, Per's phrasing is like nothing I've ever seen before. Found out last night he's a big Holdsworth fan and in a prog band with the drummer off Fredrik Thordendal's solo album.

If you want his actual fingering and can be arsed trying to work it out from a video. Been meaning to shove it in VLC player and slow it down.

Yeah, I did check that out briefly, I'm fairly sure the way I'm playing it is very close, just shifted up a fret since I did it on a guitar tuned to Eb.
