18th is almost certainly good for me.  I should advertise the fact again that for those who like traveling by Tube - the new London Overground service now runs from Canada Water (on the Jubilee Line) to Norwood Junction and that Norwood Junction is one stop from East Croydon (which is a short distance to Jon's venue and shop) - So traveling there has just got easier.

18th is definitely good for me. I'll be driving so anyone who is on the route from Basingstoke can grab a lift from me (as long as they have good car manners)

Is the event going ahead? Just got back from a week in Cornwall and haven't got round to reading the history of this thread yet!

The London Overground runs all the way to West Croydon which isnt any further really to walk - and it's pretty much a straight line from West Croydon to scream Lounge

Ok - there seems to be enough consensus of opinion for the 18th July
I will speak to the guys at Scream Studios (Croydon - only 200 yards from my place) to get the upstairs room reserved for us

Could I start having a show of hands to get an idea of who will be there
As I mentioned before if we get good enough numbers and frequent the bar as well we may not have to pay for the hire of upstairs.


So hands up who wants to come along on the 18th

And what toys are you bringing along??

I'm in for 18th July. :D

As I'm a public transport sort of guy, I'll be able to manage two guitars in gig-bags.

Or possibly, I could do one guitar and a Vox Tonelab LE - is there a PA or something I could plug this into? (and would it be completely drowned by the stuff emanating from Johnny's Koch??)

I'm leaning towards two gits and a lead - and I'll rely on the groovy amplification other folks can manage.

(Or... there might be other options... I'll start PMing someone...)

I'll be there. Will bring along the martamp deluxe if anyone is interested. I probably won't bring the Baja unless anyone really wants to try it out - it's just a tele, nothing special.

I'll be there, will probably bring my new combo (Cornford Harlequin), as it sounds better than the Class5 :) Guitar-wise i'm not sure yet, it's either between the Charvel (which should hopefull have some single coils in by then), or a stock LP. I'll be there anyway :)
