Mississippi Queen vs Nailbomb
« on: May 26, 2010, 09:06:55 PM »
Just made this short comparison between my MQ and Nailbomb bridge. The MQ sits in a Reverend Manta Ray while the Nailbomb is in a LP clone. Not exactly the same guitars, but the have a few similarities.

The track is done in riffworks with amplitube 3 and a mesa rectifier mod. The settings are the same for both pickups. Firstup is the MQ and after the short pause the Nailbomb plays the same riffs. I tried to go for some kinda heavy-like thing in drop d  :?

I must say that I the difference between the two pickups is felt much more when playing them through a real amp.

Enjoy!

Nailbomb sounded alot better in this application...

Was the Manta Ray a semi-hollow body?
