6.5 pounds weight - non-chambered - how do they do that?  Or is it just the body weight!!

Looks great with the exception of the 2 types of knobs? Is there a reason for that or just personal choice?

That's just echoing the original Peter Green/Gary Moore Les Paul.  I don't know if it already had the mismatched knobs when Green owned it.

Thats quite bizarre! I've never actually seen Gary Moore when he was young!

BKPs I Had:  RY+Abraxas, Crawlers, BD+SM

I must admit I have been toying with the idea of getting a set of PG Blues for a while now. But I could only put them in my 339, and I like the inbetween sound in that too much, so I think I would miss it.

So probably a new SG or LP would be my best bet (funny how GAS works isn't it?), but I have been thinking about going all Tokai for this one...

Gary Moore fitted the mis-matched knobs  ;)

. . . but the Sperzel metal butter bean tuners (as opposed to the Kluson tulips) were on it in Greeny's day.  Was this original or a later addition?
BKPS: Milks, P90s, Apaches, Mississippi Queens, Mules, PG Blues, BG FP 50s, e.60s strat custom set

They're Grovers in the picture, Sperzel didn't start making machine heads until the 90's.  I think they were switched out to Schallers at one point.

I'm being pedantic again, but I think they started in the late '70s and introduced the locking ones in the '80s.

I stand corrected, I was going by when I started to see them in the aftermarket area.  However, they are still Grovers on the pic of Gary Moore  :)

Oh yes, you are right, got my brands wrong - but they also can be seen on pictures of Greenbaum himself holding the guitar.
