I've heard good things about the T-Rex "Room-mate" reverb, but it might not fit your financial demands. T-Rex also makes a cheaper reverb (tonebug series), but I haven't heard anything about this one.

yeah, the t-rex one is good (i don't have too much experience with reverbs, but it sounded good to me, better than the engl screamer's spring reverb), but it's kinda dependent on "beer token" meaning "fiver"...

The Hardwire Reverb is great.  I believe the Reverbs are Lexicon and it sounds as lush as most rack units I've used.

For less you are looking at Holy Grail (£80) then BYOC reverb (£60) then possibly the Marshall one (£50)

Even less is the Behringer one at about £30.

At £99 the hardwire one represents the best value IMO although the BYOC is probably very good.

What kind of reverb are you looking for?

For great spring reverb, The Little Lanelei is awesome. A bit more than 50 beer tokens, tho.

I've got a Verbzilla that I picked up for £90.00 - should get one for around that price.

OR (if it doesn't need to be a pedal), you can always pick up old 1U rack reverbs for £50 - £100

(edit), here's a Verbzilla on evilbay for £60.00...  http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Line-6-Verbzilla-/290443645992?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Guitar_Accessories&hash=item439fca5428#ht_932wt_1137

Ouch, some pretty expensive reverbs here!

But what did I expect from the BK community? Only the finest, as always.

Thanks for the suggestions chaps. The pirce is really just 'what a bit of reverb is worth to me' more than anything. I guess, since I do need it for some things I should maybe re-evaluate that figure.

Hi

I did check out very many Reverb pedals when I bought mine, unfortunately cheaper usually means worse, it seems, when it comes to Reverb pedals.

If you want to run it in your effect loops, the Line6 Verbzilla is the best pedal out there IMO, closely followed by the more neutral Digitech Hardwire Reverb and the very "big" sounding EHX Cathedral. I have the Cathedral btw.

The Boss is IMO the best one among the cheaper options - maybe you can get one used on Ebay.
That yellow T-Rex falls a bit short IMO and isn't that much cheaper.
Current BKPs: Miracle Man, Nailbomb, Juggernaut, VHII
Past BKPS: Holy Diver, Trilogy Suite, Sinner, Black Dog

oh i'm a complete cheapo, i just recommend dear stuff for other people

EDIT: but yeah, reverb seems to be one of those things where you have to pay a fair bit. even the mass-produced stuff by the likes of boss is pretty dear.

+1 for the Hardwire reverb, the spring setting sounds very close to my Twin Reverb.
