Hello one and all,
Need some advice on what pickups to get for my new guitar. Recently purchased an ibanez S520ex after selling my
gibson sg special. I love the guitar in every way apart from the pickups which I think let the guitar down. After doing
some research on internet Ive decided to go down the BKP route as every single person who owns won loves it.
I mainly play metal metallica and sabbath with a bit of led zeppelin and ac/dc thrown in as well. Currently own a
20watt roland amp but getting a 50w marshall soon. I love the whole metallica sound from kill em all right up to death magnetic. I know they use EMG's but every one and their dog uses them and they all sound the same.
What pickups does everyone recommend for my guitar? Will the fact that its an s series so very slim make a huge
difference? Cheers for any advice guys and looking foward to joining the BKP very soon!!!
