Guitar problems HELP!!!

i´m about to leave the guitar at a guitar tech BEFORE i travel back home .
so .. the luthier told me that the problems i´ll relate here toyou , are caused by some problem with the Neck length Or some problems with the Tuners.

do you agree with that?

the problems i´mhaving with my charvelfusion deluxe are :
intonation problemswhen using the floyd rose.
particularly with the G, Low E strings.
and detuning of the strings B,G, Low E.. also when using floyd rose.
it´s a 24 ' scale , with 0.11 strings. tuned to D.

Sometimes some brands of strings will not intonate on some guitars, I think it's down to the flexibility of the metal, but I'm not sure.  Try some different brands and gauges and see if that helps first.  I had the same problems with my Charvel XL750 using 10-60 Boomers, drop  D in Eb . Had to ditch them and use   10-52s to get around the problem!

A wrong scaled neck is easy to identify. Measure from the nut to the 12th fret and from the 12th fret to the bridge. Both measurements should be about the same.

24 inch is a short scale, Gibsons are 24.75, PRS 25 and Fender 25.5.  Detuning with this scale length might also give intonation problems unless you have heavier strings.  Do you have 11-49 (as in the D'Addario XL115) or something else?

yeah.. i guess it´s 24' SOMETHING, hahaah i never remember these things
i´m using Regular 0,11´s dadario.
and i find that THE only string that are flabby to play pluggedorunplugged is the low E. so, I THINK i can fix the flabby string problem in a tension adjustment on the springs or something like that
But the Intonation problems and  detuning using the floyd rose.. i don´t know

i´ve used both dadario, and ernie ball
i like both, i´ve played sit, and someother brazilian brands, but not on this guitar
i just use import brands on this charvel. SHE dESERVES IT
ahahahahha

WHERE exactly is the point that i shall place the measure tape instrument in both the nut and in the frets?
can you take alittle pic?

if i got wrong scale neck.. how can i correct it?
by selling the guitar and getting another one?

the guitar is 24.75" scale, if you havent changed the neck, it has to be the same scale lenght

check the saddles on the floyd, it's old, probably havent been replaced in over a decade. same for the nut, check the block that presses the string down if its worn too much, replace it.

these are the basic things i would check first, along with a proper floyd setup.

WHEN I GOT the guitar, i leave it in a tech and he said that the allen screws that you hold or tight to make the intonations on the saddles.. were worn.. so he replacedit.
but you think the saddlesitself could be damaged too?:
the blocks are a thing that 3 people already told me that could be the problem

Short scale guitars with dropped tuning are often a problem
Try using 10-52 s and it may well help
Or try the top 3 strings from a set of 11-49 and the bottom 3 from a set of 10-52 (30,42,52)

A problem with many guitars here is intonation
To get a good tension on the low E you need a fat string.
Fatter strings need a longer intonation length- especially when de-tuned
Many manufacturers put their mounting posts for Floyd Roses in at a point that is not optimum.
This means that the saddles would sit in the middle of the trem with regular strings in regular tuning.
We try to fit ours so the saddles are as far forward as we dare and still get intonation.
Unfortunately  the position where most companies put theirs means that when you use fatter strings you just run out of adjustment for intonation on the fatter strings.

What your tech may have to do is to move the posts back away from the neck if it is at all possible, and give you that extra adjustment

If the problem is that there is not enough room to intonate and moving the trem posts is not possible then the only option is to move the neck slightly further out of the body.

To do this your tech will need to unbolt the neck - drill and fill the existing screw holes in the neck using hardwood dowel (I cut my own from maple). Add a shim - I'd suggest maple and place it at the end of the neck forcing the neck further out of the body when it is put back in.
Then redrill the pilot holes and refit the neck.
Then redo the intonation and hopefully it will be enough to now get the adjustment you need.
