band CD with BKP!!
« on: July 05, 2010, 02:43:56 PM »
My band have just finished our debut CD. Its all pro recorded and i used BKP for the vast majority. We have uploaded a couple of tracks onto the myspace if you wanna check it out. Its kinda prog metal

www.myspace.com/hookahthefuzz

I used a Musicman JP with a Riff raff/Painkiller and a Les Paul Standard with a Cold Sweat/Painkiller.  Amp-wise its all Mesa Boogie. There are 2 guitarist in the band so most riffs are doubled, the other one used EMG's through an ENGL but all the leads are BKP.

Thanks

Alex

i've only listened to skin & bones so far, it's really very good. very creative and i love the 'guitar synth' solo.
i think there must be some ozric tentacles influencing you?

shred, the ozrics are an acidy rock (uk) band since the 80's, very talented musically.heavily influenced by steve hillage, hawkwind etc. youtube them, the album 'there is nothing' is great
