7 string sets

Does anyone know if anyone does a 9-56 set?

I dont know about that, but DR to a 12-56 that you could get with an additional 9. I use that set with the wound 3rd replaced with a diadarrio 22p and the sound is the same as the DR plains.

I do the same the other way round, hybrid slinkies with a 56 (although thinking about it an individual 9 is half the price of an individual 56, so your way round could well work out cheaper)

In practise it is way easier to buy 9-46 and an extra 56 than trying to find a shop with 12-56
Also you can get a good enough price on 9-46 compared to a 12-56 that buuying the .056 still works out cheaper than the other way around (just)
