Hi
Pre-wiring 500 pots and .047 caps on 72 Deluxe Tele, waiting for pups.
Two Vol, two Tone, 3-way, just like a LP or SG.
Old pots were 250 and caps were unknown.
I followed a diagram from Seymour Duncan as I have never completely rewired a two vol two tone guitar before, just replaced pups...
So I get done and notice that the diagram shows the tone cap wired to the wiper tab of the pot and B to the vol pot tied to the positive side of the pickup.
Now what I removed has the cap on B and the lead from the vol on the wiper.
My other guitars with single volume and tone also have B to cap, wiper to vol.
Technically it's doing the same thing either way, shunting to ground through the cap, but I was wondering if there is any difference, or why would Seymour Duncan show the connections "backward", or if I should go back and change it the other way around?
Thanks
