Sinners
« on: August 03, 2010, 07:35:59 AM »
I have in the bridge position of strat a sinner with the zinc base plate option.  Is this the same thing as an ubersinner or is an ubersinner something else?

originally the sinner was 16k. but tim found he could get them up to 22k with them still sounding good. people brought this overkill option and called it the ubersinner. it was so popular/good sounding that now all sinners are all wound to 22k specs.

my sinner does have a baseplate on it, though not sure how much difference it actually makes with such a high wind. on lower output strats you can clearly hear the difference though.
