Pink Floyd with Apaches
« on: August 03, 2010, 09:27:01 AM »

Done with teh Apache'd 80s Tokai Goldstar through OCD, PB-1, Marshall and Providence Delay, all recorded with a single SM57. Played Position 2 on the switch until the last part, which was played in Pos 1.

Lovely tone there Hunter. The Apaches really sound great with some gain. Could you please post a Apache track with a more raw rock tone. Just some riffin' or anything. I would really like to hear them do some dirty stuff.

By the way. The goldstar looks great with the black body, white covers and maple board.

Your wish is my command.

Everything was still set up, so I just switched off the booster to have less gain, dialed back the delay, et voila, here is your more dirty stuff :)

Actually I think this quick clip is much better than the Floyd one LOL

Thanks a lot for the clip! Sounds awesome. You really hit the Ritchie Blackmore tone. Great playing as always.

At the moment I got an Apache/Stormy Monday set without a home, but hopefuly this will end soon as I'm planning my next purchase. I want that sweet apache tone as well  :D
