NECK PICKUPS

I need some help in choosing a neck pickup to go with a Black Dog bridge pickup, I really like VHII and HD (neck) I'm not after A4 I prefer A5, how does the BD neck sound vs VHII and HD? it is to go in an Eggle Berlin Plus, mahogany body/neck, maple top, rosewood fingerboard with trem, I have VHIIs and HDs in simular guitars and don't want anything vastly different, I play a wide range of music no metal of any sort. I don't have any neck pickups, so take everything I say with a pinch of salt.

BUT, given that you already have the BD bridge (which I love!), why not simply go for the matching neck pickup? I'm sure any of the vintage hot range will suit you well, but that's the one Tim has made to go with the BD bridge, so that'd be my first starting point!
