After realising that 90% of the musicians around me are completely and utterly useles when it comes to reliability i decided i'd concentrate on some of my non metal songs (cos to be honest im sick of all this chuggy stuff).
I've never really played around with trying to set a scene like this before and to be honest i arent 100% sure if i've managed to achieve that yet.
It's still early days and i know i have a lot of work to go on this.
My plan is to create a small story/ EP that is going to be completely instrumental of an individual going through various emotions such as, dealing with a loss of someone close, first love, the end of the first love, anger & resentment and last of all fear.
I have no idea of how i'm going to pull this off but i am definitely going to try.
This small section i have done here is that numb feeling that you have when you lose somebody very close to you and it hasnt quite sunken in yet.
I guess i should shut up waffling now and get to the clip. I am posting it in here for two reasons.
1. it currently has no guitar parts on as they are proving the hardest for me to add in, maybe i wont have any on this particular track.
2. im pretty certain more people will see this thread as the players section is pretty much dead nowadays which is a real shame.
The orchestral percussion hits at the beginning are bit loud and a bit higher than i expected so ill be changing them.
and also the piano is far from perfect this is my first time trying to actual program piano thats not just single notes.

Oh yeah the mix is probably far from perfect as i did it on my laptop using laptop speakers about 10 minutes ago so please dont be too critical in that area.
